I work for Te Runanga o Te Rarawa. I have just moved across from ‘Kia Piki te Ora’ to CAYAD. Similar mahi and sadly, similar clientele. Te Runanga o Te Rarawa has its own website so any info you want re our mission and vision is there. Kia Ora. Te Oranga is the service delivery arm of Te Runanga o Te Rarawa and currently we are working with a system of integrated contracts and reporting to the different Ministries that fund us.
Out of the ordinary
Marcellus, my great grandfather is a full blooded American Indian from a small Island west of Boston/New York/Nantucket Is - a place called ‘Martha’s Vineyard’. As a native of this country, Shawnee/Cherokee te Iwi, Musquan te hapu, he moved and lived in Kerikeri/Takou Bay/Matauri Bay for most of his life. One of my goals is to hikoi to his homeland and trace where my koro and I come from, and also bring back my full whakapapa. Kia Ora.
