The CAYAD awards, recognise people and/or organisations in our sector and the mahi they contribute too.
For the 2025 - 2026 period, we are seeking nominations for the awards listed below.
Please complete the online nomination form, the final decision will be made by NCAG and NCT. You will be notified if your nominee was successful and NCT will work with you to organise the presentation of the award.

Is the first award and acknowledges a person or an organisation that works at a national or international level to reduce the harm of alcohol and other drugs, such as previous award recipients, Alcohol Healthwatch and Communities Against Alcohol Harm.

Is the second award and acknowledges that it requires many of us, working across our communities to mahi work to reduce the harm of alcohol and or other drugs and uplift the wellbeing of whaanau, such as previous award recipients, Shane White, Elaine Ngamu and Karen Ngamu from Patua Te Ngangara, Hoani Waititi Marae and Pauline (Hubba) Taiatini from Wharerau Ora, Oopootiki.

Is the third award and acknowledges a person and/or organisation whose mahi work significantly contributes to enabling rangatahi, whaanau, hapuu, iwi, hapori katoa, to reach their full potential, to thrive, such as previous award recipients, Horouta Waka Hoe Club, Tuuranganui-a-Kiwa and Haeata Community Campus, Ootautahi.
