Kia ora, welcome to our Kete Mātauranga..
Whaowhia te kete mātauranga - Fill the basket of knowledge.
The term ‘knowledge baskets’ is inspired by Tane ascent through the twelve heavens to bring back to earth, three baskets of Knowledge.
1. Te kete Tuauri (sacred knowledge)
2. Te kete Tuatea (ancestral knowledge)
3. Te kete Aronui (knowledge before us)
We hope by navigating this resource, it will open the same opportunity for you in your mātauranga journey of life.

Kōwae ako (module)
Each kōwae ako holds a number of akoranga (lessons) which vary, as we progress through the resource, lessons and chapters will be updated and added too. How you navigate your way through this resource and whether you read or watch every video is completely up to you. It is a knowledge journey not a qualification journey, which generally requires you to go through one chapter after the other.
